What to see in Wroclaw in two days?

02.12.2022

When writing a tourist text about Wrocław, we always have a dilemma. Because it is impossible to cover all the attractions of this city in two days, or even in a week.

So please forgive me if our proposal here is a very subjective choice (so-called "must see"), which each of you can supplement with other interesting facts according to your own preferences and interests. Also, let the order of sightseeing be a proposal, which of course can be modified in any way. And where is the best place to stop when traveling to Wrocław? A proven method is Sky Tower apartments with a beautiful view

Wrocław – what is worth seeing on the first day

Market Square and the historic Old Town

It is always worth starting a tour of beautiful cities from what is on the Market Square and in its immediate vicinity. The Wrocław Market Square is one of the largest and most beautiful in Poland. In addition to the historic tenement houses that surround it, it is worth noting here, among others, two town halls. Not far from here you will find a large, almost monumental Polish Catholic cathedral of St. Magdalene. Between the two towers of this church there is a footbridge (the so-called witches' bridge). From there, there is a wonderful view of the entire area.

The National Museum and the Racławice Panorama

This is a proposal for all lovers of great works of art. And in the National Museum you will find thousands of sculptures, paintings, masterpieces of applied art, sacred art and many other wonderful things also from such distant countries as Japan and China. The Racławice Panorama is the largest painting ever created by Polish painters. You absolutely have to see it.

Market Hall

Wrocław Market Hall is not only a place where you can do some good shopping, especially fresh fruit and vegetables, but also one of the most famous and recognizable monuments of the city.

Sky Tower

One of the newest and at the same time the biggest (literally) attractions of the city. A building that can be seen from afar. It is over two hundred meters high. It is a large shopping, service and entertainment center. You can eat something in one of the many restaurants or take the elevator to the viewpoint. Unforgettable views and experiences.

Wroclaw tourist attractions for day two

Cruise on the Oder

Along the Oder, there are numerous small ships waiting for those interested, on which you can take a ride to see what the city looks like from the water. An interesting and romantic proposition, especially for couples in love.

Botanical Garden, Japanese Garden and many other green areas

Like every larger city, Wrocław has quite a few different parks and gardens on its territory. The very interesting Botanical Garden and the Japanese Garden deserve special mention, where you will be able to see interesting exotic plants arranged in unusual compositions. A good proposition for all those who have their own garden and maybe would like to take some ideas and apply them to themselves.

Wrocław Multimedia Fountain

Fountains are becoming increasingly popular in various cities, in which not only water flows from a beautiful sculpture, but also thanks to the many different nozzles used, you can achieve the effect as if the water columns were dancing to the rhythm of the music coming out of the speakers. An additional beautiful element is the illumination of everything with different colors, which gives an extraordinary aesthetic experience. The fountain stands right next to the famous Centennial Hall in Wrocław.

What can you visit in Wrocław with your family?

If you have children, you should definitely take them on a trip to the zoo. All little ones love animals, and the Wrocław zoo is one of the best and most famous in Poland. Children will also definitely be interested in "collecting" dwarves. In some bookstores in the city, you can buy a map with all the dwarves of Wrocław marked. And because they are usually located near the most interesting and famous monuments, you will also see many other attractions.
