The observation deck on the 49th floor – the place to start#
The observation deck is the main reason visitors come to Sky Tower. It is located on the 49th floor, about 200 metres above the ground, and covers 600 m² of glazed space. In good weather an outdoor section is also open, and there is a café on site.
The visit begins in the lift – a multimedia lift with animations projected during the ride up. At the top you can see the whole of Wrocław: Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island), the Market Square, the Oder with its bridges and, when the air is clear, even Mount Ślęża. After its modernisation the deck won the industry awards Prime Property Prize 2024 and CEE Investment Awards.
Tickets and opening hours (as of October 2026):
- standard ticket – 53 PLN, reduced – 40 PLN, children up to 3 years enter free of charge,
- the deck is open Monday to Saturday 9:00–20:30 and on Sunday 10:00–20:30,
- tickets are available online on the Sky Tower website or at the ticket office in the shopping centre,
- the last ride up is about half an hour before closing.
A few practical tips:
- At the weekend, buy your ticket online – you will save time in the queue for the lift.
- Luggage, food, drinks and animals are not allowed on the deck. If you have a suitcase with you, leave it at your accommodation first.
- Residents with an active Nasz Wrocław card (the city’s resident card) get a discount, and a reduction is sometimes also available when you combine the deck with Kolejkowo on the same day – ask at the ticket office.
- Once a year the deck becomes the finish line of the Sky Tower Run stair race. In 2026 it took place on 26 September – on race day part of the deck is closed to visitors.
You can check current prices and any changes to opening hours on the Sky Tower observation deck website.
Kolejkowo – Wrocław and Lower Silesia in miniature#
On the 1st floor of the shopping centre there is an attraction that surprises even adults. Kolejkowo is one of the largest model railways in Poland – trains run across an exhibition of around 1,000 m², and more than 6,000 figures have been arranged in its scenes. Every few minutes day turns into night, and the street lamps and house windows light up.
On the model it is easy to recognise Wrocław buildings, including the Main Railway Station. Some scenes are set in motion at the push of a button, so children have something to do throughout the visit. It is worth setting aside around 1.5 hours.
Kolejkowo is open all year round, including Sundays and public holidays. Tickets cost several dozen złoty, and online tickets are cheaper than at the ticket office and tied to a specific entry time. It is a good plan B for a rainy day – with low cloud the deck loses much of its charm, while the model does not depend on the weather.
Salvador Dalí’s sculpture “Profile of Time”#
The Sky Tower shopping centre is home to an original sculpture by Salvador Dalí, “Profile of Time”. It is a bronze cast almost 4 metres high and weighing 1,300 kg, with a brown-and-green patina, set on a pedestal. The motif is typical of Dalí – a soft, melting clock.
Seeing the sculpture costs nothing and requires no ticket – simply enter the shopping centre during its opening hours. For many people it comes as a surprise: a work by one of the most famous surrealists stands a few steps from cafés and shops. It is a good spot for a photo before you go up to the deck.
Bowling, racing simulators and saunas – entertainment under one roof#
Sky Tower is more than a tower and a shopping centre of over 30,000 m². The building has plenty of places to fill an evening or a rainy afternoon:
- Sky Bowling – a bowling alley open until 23:00 on weekdays and as late as midnight on Saturdays. A good idea for an evening with friends or with children.
- Apex One – racing simulators that let you feel like a rally driver. They work well for a stag party, a birthday or simply a friendly contest for two.
- Fitness Academy – one of the largest gyms in Wrocław, over 2,200 m², open on weekdays from 6:00 to 23:00.
- Sauna and spa zone – two Finnish saunas, a herbal sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and massage rooms. It is best to check the terms of single entry directly on site.
The shopping centre is open Monday to Saturday 9:00–21:00 and on Sunday 10:00–20:00. Opening hours of individual venues may differ.

Book your stay →Where to eat and have coffee at Sky Tower#
On level 0 of the shopping centre there are restaurants serving cuisines from around the world. For dinner, try Kofuku Sushi or Dom Wina, where a glass of good wine rounds off a day of sightseeing nicely. For a quick coffee there is Starbucks or Costa Coffee, and late in the evening – until midnight – McDonald’s is open.
The coffee with the most atmosphere in the building, however, is at the top: in the café on the observation deck you drink it 200 metres above the city. If you are staying at Sky Tower and want to eat in your apartment, you can do your shopping at the Eurospar on site, open until 22:00.
When to come and how to plan half a day at Sky Tower#
The best time for the deck is about 45 minutes before sunset. You see the city in daylight, then the golden hour and finally the lights of Wrocław coming on – three different views for a single ticket.
You just need to keep the season in mind. In October the sun sets in Wrocław at around 18:30, and in December before 16:00, so you can easily watch the sunset from the deck. From roughly mid-May to early August, however, the sun does not set until after 20:30, which is after the deck closes.
A sample plan for an autumn afternoon:
- 15:00 – Dalí’s sculpture “Profile of Time” and coffee in the shopping centre.
- 15:30 – Kolejkowo, around 1.5 hours among miniature trains.
- 17:15 – the observation deck: the panorama by day, the sunset and the city after dark.
- 19:00 – dinner on level 0, for example sushi or wine and small plates.
- 20:30 – a game of bowling or a return to your apartment several dozen floors higher.
In winter you can move the whole plan an hour or two earlier, and on a rainy day swap the order and start with Kolejkowo while you wait for better visibility.
Staying at Sky Tower – when the view should last longer#
The deck closes at 20:30, but the view from Sky Tower does not have to end with it. On floors 28–46 you will find In The Sky Apartments – 26 apartments from which you can watch Wrocław from a height of 200 metres all night long, at dawn and over your morning coffee. In summer it is the only way to see the sunset from the tower.
